Why I do Therapy

I became a therapist because I believe people can rebuild — not just survive, but truly begin again. My own path in recovery showed me that healing isn’t a straight line; it’s messy, brave, and deeply human. The personal change I experienced through therapy inspired me to give back what I had received — hope, guidance, and the kind of honest connection that helps people find themselves again.Therapy, to me, is about connection — seeing someone fully and helping them see themselves that way too. It’s about understanding that pain often hides wisdom, that patterns make sense when we look closer, and that everyone deserves a space where they don’t have to earn compassion.I do this work because I’ve witnessed what happens when people feel safe enough to be real — they grow, forgive, and begin to live differently. And I’m honored, every day, to be part of that process.
